Stop that Stain! Expert Tips for Sunbrella Fabric Care

Bookmark and Share

It's no secret that Sunbrella coverings on your outdoor furniture cushions and canopies are long-lasting and beautiful. Specially designed and made in the USA, Sunbrella fabrics wick moisture away, effectively resisting mildew and staining. Occasionally, though, a slip of the hand or Mother Nature creates what could (doh!) become a nasty stain. Your outdoor products take a lot of abuse, and like any prized item, Sunbrella cushions need care and maintenance to provide the projected 10-15 years of high quality performance you expect.

If you use Carbona Stain Devil products, which have 9 unique formulas created to effectively address certain types of stains, note that the stain numbers are listed as well. For all solutions, use a soft bristle brush or sponge to apply and loosen the stain on your Sunbrella cushion, allow cleaner to penetrate the surface of the fabric, rinse thoroughly, and air dry.
